Service Inspection

Please allow 10-15 minutes at check in. A Service Inspection of your bicycle will be carried out by a trained technician to discuss the needs of your service, provide further recommendations and agree on service recommendations to be performed.

Express Check Ins

Express Check Ins are available with other staff or when you do not have enough time available to cover the Service Inspection. This can lead to services delays as we will have to call with assessment feedback and and agree on service recommendations to be performed.

Technical Evaluations

A Technical Evaluation and quote will be provided if your technician identifies functional or component deficienes preventing them from completing your bicycle service to the agreed standard of safety and performance. No additional work will be carried out until you have approved the quote.

Frame | Inspected for damage, washed and wiped

Fork | Removed, inspected for damage, washed and wiped

Headset | Removed, cleaned, checked, regreased and installed

Stem | Bolts checked and torqued to factory settings

Handlebars | Checked for damage and wear

Tape | Checked for damage, wear – new finishing tape applied

Front Brake | Pads and callipers cleaned, checked for wear, aligned, cable tensioned, pivots lubricated

Rear Brake | Pads and callipers cleaned, checked for wear, aligned, cable tensioned, pivots lubricated

Inner cables | Checked for length, wear, corrosion and smoothness

Outer cables | Checked for length, corrosion, damage and smoothness

Front Derailleur | Cleaned, aligned, spring tension checked, pivots lubricated and cable tensioned

Rear Derailleur | Cleaned, aligned, spring tension and jockey wheels checked, pivots and bearings lubricated and cable tensioned

Shift Levers | Bolts checked and shift mechanisms cleaned and checked for functional operation and smoothness.

Cassette | Removed, checked for wear and 30 minute ultrasonic clean

Chain | Removed, checked for wear, length, direction and stiff links and 30 minute ultrasonic clean

Crankset | Removed, dis assembled, inspected for damage, chain rings and bolts checked for wear and 30 minute ultrasonic clean. Regreased, reassembled and torqued to factory settings

Bottom Bracket | Removed, cleaned, checked for wear, greased and reassembled

Pedals | Removed, pedal axle threads regreased and tightened

Front Wheel | Hubs, rims and spokes cleaned, checked for wear, damage and corrosion, aligned and tensioned with Centrimaster

Rear Wheel | Hubs, rims and spokes cleaned, checked for wear, damage and corrosion, aligned and tensioned with Centrimaster

Tyres | Checked for wear, damage and tread direction and inflated

Saddle | Inspected for wear, rails and shell inspected, position marked with tape

Seatpost | Inspected for wear, damage, bolts torqued to factory setting, height position marked with tape, grease or carbon paste checked.

Seat Binder | Bolts and clamp inspected for wear, corrosion and tolerance and torqued to factory settings
