Mark worked with Triathlon Australia, AIS and NSWIS as an indpendant High Performance Coach between 2000-2003 coaching athletes to a total of 5 world championship medals during that period.

In 2001, Mark became the yougest person to coach a Triathlon World Champion at the age of 28 when Peter Robertson won the first of his three ITU World Championships in Edmonton, Canada. The following year, Mark was part of the Triathlon Australia Coaching program at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and in the same year at the Triathlon World Championships where Peter Robertson finished with a Silver medal. Peter Robertson claimed his second World Championship title winning the mens event.

Normann went on to win the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon in Kona that year.

In 2005 Mark scaled back from coaching professional athletes full tim and established Human Endurance, offering sports coaching and biomechanics to all levels of athlete with a focus on coaching service, physiological testing and bike fitting.

In 2010 Mark founded Jet Cycles

As the cycling industry continues to improve products that support and improve a riders biomechanics, Mark saw the need to have a fully intergrated solution in bike fit and a better alignment with the industry as he realised much of the limitations in bike fit arise from not having access to a wide range of supporting products that meet a riders needs. Rather than being independant and working around the edges of the industry, Mark establish established Jet Cycles as small boutique retail store on the ground floor of where Human Endurance was operating to eliminate the limitations and offer a more seamless solution where education, experience and products were all part of a single service.

With an alignment in fitting philosophy and service, Jet Cycles parntered with Specialized in 2011, completing the Body Geometry Fit program to incorporate the Body Geometry range of Shoes, saddles and gloves into bike fitting.
